Ashley Dupre trying to make money by Suing Girls Gone Wild

Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's hooker Ashley Dupre has reportedly filed a law suit against Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis for "exploiting her name and image for profit," reports People magazine.

Dupree claims that Girls Gone Wild representatives approached her in 2003 while she was vacationing in Florida, "offered her alcohol and cajoled her into exposing her breasts for their cameras when she was just 17."

And since the Spitzer scandal that pushed Dupre's name and face towards the public, Francis has allegedly used her name, face, picture and voice in Girls Gone Wild ad campaigns and websites.

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis says he was “very surprised and in fact amazed” when he was told that Ashley Dupre — the hooker that bought down New York governor Eliot Spitzer — had filed suit against him.

“It is incomprehensible that Ms. Dupré could claim she did not give her consent to be filmed by Girls Gone Wild, when in fact we have videotape of her giving consent, while showing her identification,” Francis said in a statement Monday.

In the suit, Durpi, 22, is seeking $10 million from Francis and his company, Girls Gone Wild, for misuse of her name and image for profit.

Francis had publicly offered Dupre a $1m deal for a Girls Gone Wild photo shoot, but found GGW tapes of Dupre from 2003 during negations with her lawyers, and the deal was called off.

“She refused this offer and in fact if she’d like to reconsider, we’d be happy to discuss. She should keep in mind, it’s considerably more than the Governor of New York paid her, and our activities aren’t illegal,” he said Monday.

Asked in March about reports Dupre was underage during the GGW shoot, Francis said, “It doesn’t matter.”

He reiterated his stance on Monday.

“She’s seeking $10 Million for topless photos taken in front of a room full of people, including two newspapers and multiple crews we had in the room,” he said. “These images were taken in public places and contain no sexual contact. We expect to triumph in this matter and continue to offer the best and hottest girls.”

Francis’ statement ended with a declaration that a video of Dupre giving her consent will be available online imminently.

Ashley Dupre getting Mixed reactions from Record Labels

Ashley Alexandra Dupré, the 22-year-old aspiring singer who was Eliot Spitzer's favorite call girl, is now being represented by music manager Jerry Blair. Blair had previously handled Mariah Carey's comeback and now reps singer Mika, according to the NYDailyNews gossip columnist Ben Widdicombe.

"Ashley has a delicate situation," a source told Widdicombe. "She can't do anything that generates income until she works out a deal" over potential charges.

So far, Dupre has received a mixed reaction from music labels that Blair's has been shopping her around to, according to NYDN. But since some of today's biggest pop stars have become successful without great singing chops (e.g., Madonna, Britney Spears), Dupre's recent notoriety could be a boon for a blossoming music career. never know.

Separately, disgraced ex-Gov. Spitzer has been offered an initial bid of $350,000 to pen a memoir, reports AHN News. Peter Elkind, a writer for Fortune, proposed the book, but Spitzer's agent, Liz Darhansoff, declined to confirm the price.

Many aren't convinced the book would generate much interest, now that the scandal has faded somewhat from the public's memory. "The book will get a lot of ink, if not sales," Sara Nelson, editor of Publishers Weekly told NYDN. "The question is that, by the time it comes out, will people have read everything they need to know in the tabloids and other papers?" Good question.

Ashley Dupre offers still rolling in

Ashley Dupre became a household name due to the exposure of her alleged sex-service relationship with New York's former governor, Eliot Spitzer. But while his life and career appear to be in ruins in the wake of the randy revelations, Dupre's bank balance may soon be booming.

The New Jersey-born call girl was offered big bucks from numerous men's magazines to get down and dirty, including a $1 million paycheck from X-rated entrepreneur Joe Francis to take the cover of his first-ever "Girls Gone Wild" magazine this month. (Francis rescinded the offer once he realized he already had several films in which Dupre appeared.)

The now 22-year-old only got a T-shirt for flashing her flesh in those videos from 2003. So thanks to client number nine, Ashley's earning power has come a long way. And now, Francis' good friend Dennis Hof, owner of the big-wig Bunnyranch brothel in Nevada, wants to be hooked up with the sex scandal star, too.

"I've offered Ashley a quarter of million salary to come and work for me here," Hof told Pop Tarts, adding that he was hoping to negotiate the deal with Dupre in the next few weeks. "I've also offered a free lifetime pass for Mr. Spitzer; we're still waiting for a response.

"We call him the 'No Glove Love Gov,' but we've given out passes to people who are a lot more important and high-profile than he is," the hooker-house owner added.

So if Ashley does decide to bounce on board the Bunnyranch, Hof claims that he will turn her image from "dirty" to dazzling.

"My girls are rock stars; they have class. Right now, Ashley is just a dirty girl who knew that what she was doing in New York and D.C. was illegal," he said. "If she wanted to be in the sex trade she could have come to Nevada where it's legal. So she deserves whatever she gets — but what she doesn’t deserve is fame. She and Eliot should both be in jail where they can write dirty letters to each other."

However, Dupre’s 15 minutes of fame aren't up quite yet. Gentleman’s Club Headquarters New York (known as HQ) is holding a contest this Thursday in search of the sexiest Dupre duplicate.

“Ms. Dupre has become an instant sex symbol, and men would happily pay to see her dance,” said Steve Hahn, General Manager of HQ. “We’re giving them the next best thing by combing the city for a girl who looks just like her.”

The reigning “almost Ashley Dupre” will be judged by "The Sopranos" star Dan Grimaldi, Big Apple icon The Naked Cowboy and a very special surprise guest (could it be Client #9?)

While the winner won't exactly get to tryst with a high-profile politician of her own, she will earn $500 and a two-week dancing contract at the club.

Meanwhile, aspiring singer Dupre has enlisted top music manager Jerry Blair, who once managed Mariah Carey's comeback, the New York Daily News reports.

"Ashley has a delicate situation," an insider told the News. "She can't do anything that generates income until she works out a deal" over potential charges.

Two sources close to the situation confirmed for the News that Blair had been representing Dupre to labels, but once source said "Every label passed" and another said "There has been quite a bit of interest."

Matt and Lucy Damon Want to Give Away Their Dirty Diaper Bag

We're assuming it will be washed, but they're not the only ones handing over their newborn necessities.

Pop Tarts has confirmed that Julianne Moore's giving away her high chair, Elisabeth Hasselback has had enough of her stroller/seat combo, Mariska Hargitay is donating her baby son's sneakers and track-suit, Elisabeth Rohm wants you to have her booster seat, Jeri Ryan is giving away her baby's goodies and even Tori Spelling isn't waiting to give birth again before she hands over something special, too.

Click here to bid for a celeb hand-me-down

Starting Tuesday evening (in time for Mother's Day) and ending May 9, these seven star-studded parents have teamed up with Johnson's to auction off their personal baby products, with all proceeds going to benefit new charity initiative, powered by GlobalGiving.

Speaking for the first time since giving birth to a girl, Easton August, on April 10, "Law & Order" starlet Rohm told Tarts that she's "thrilled" to be giving away her lil' girl's goodies.

"This will be my first Mother's Day as a new mom, so the cause is near and dear to my heart," she said. "It means so much to me to participate in the program; I'm so thrilled to contribute."

The new mommies are all over the age of 30, debunking the myth that in Hollywood you're only "worth" something when you're super-young. According to an auction insider, these "hand-me-downs" are expected to make big bucks when the bidding war begins.

Christina Ricci to Hollywood: Pull the Pole Out of Your...

Opinionated starlet Christina Ricci has had enough with the Tinseltown talk about stripping and pole-dancing, and has lashed out at the "stupid" actresses whose greatest "passion" is to play an, er, erotic dancer.

“It used to be something that we were sort of ashamed of. You didn’t want to admit to people that you were a stripper. But now, the hottest thing to say is, ‘I can work a pole!’ Who gives a f—-? But it’s a huge, weird thing," Ricci told Blackbook magazine. "You see actresses, and their passion project is to play a stripper. It’s just stupid.”

Zach Braff Will 'Scrub' the Sky

It seems as though actor Zach Braff has come a long way since starring on the hit sitcom "Scrubs."

Pop Tarts spies caught the actor wooing a hot blonde at Hollywood's hottest Brazilian restaurant Bossa Nova last week. Braff was overheard telling his date about his plans to, oh, buy a helicopter.

"If you've got the money, you may as well buy one," the star was overheard saying, our inside source adding that he sounded and acted particularly "pompous and arrogant." Ouch.

The truth Behind Ashley Dupre's life

The problem with much of the coverage of the Eliot Spitzer scandal was not just the pulp fiction-worthy headlines ("Bad Gal!" "The Love Gov!") or the endless loop of commentary about why married men cheat. It was that the media delivered a basic untruth.

This was not a love (or even a lust) story: The now-former New York governor wasn't stepping out on his wife with a consenting "other woman." His was an illegal and dehumanizing business transaction, one in which a man of great privilege purchased the sexual services of a woman of far more limited means.

But instead of treating Ashley Alexandra Dupre—who has said she was abused and once homeless—as a victim, the media have turned her into a vixen. Why address the oppression that is prostitution when we can serve it up as a form of sexual self-expression (or as a savvy career move) instead?

It's tempting to blame it all on "Pretty Woman," the wildly successful 1990 film that launched Julia Roberts' career, and the myth of prostitution as a way to get the guy (and the designer wardrobe).

But that film's wrongheaded celebration of the redeeming possibilities of sexual servitude seems almost quaint in comparison with the "Prostitution Chic" of today.

"Pimp and Ho" nights have become a staple at downtown clubs and uptown benefit parties. "Turning Tricks" pole-dancing classes are offered at Crunch Gyms.

Hit shows such as HBO's "Entourage" and "Cathouse"—where a Nevada pimp and his "girls" are portrayed as one big, happy, sexually uninhibited family—are an ode to the joys of being sexually serviced by women. The Top 40 success of the Pussycat Dolls—part predictable pop music, all bump and grind—has brought the burlesque back to the mainstream.

And here in the Windy City, the Discovery Center's Sex Tour brochure promises to take tourists to the "freaky and little-known locations of Chicago's sex industry."

The new vogue of voyeurism substitutes prostitution for the carnival freak shows of old. The trend is not unprecedented; respectable Victorians also took prostitution tours. But it reinforces the modern-day, market-driven perception that those working in prostitution are merely indulging their own bent for entrepreneurialism and sexual self-expression.

Make no mistake: Our cultural fascination with and glamorization of pimping and prostitution do not make for a kinder and gentler sex trade.

"Every reliable study of women working in prostitution finds that more than 90 percent have been victims of childhood sexual assault," said DePaul University College of Law researcher Jody Raphael. "Most entered the sex trade in their teens, after fleeing abuse and having no other way to support themselves. Many are alcohol and drug dependent.

"People talk about this as sex between two consenting adults, but it is hard to talk about this as a 'choice' when we are talking about women who entered into prostitution when they were so young," Raphael said.

The painful conditions that drive girls and women into the sex trade often pale in comparison with the dangers they face once they become part of what people far too blithely refer to as the "world's oldest profession."

A comprehensive 2004 mortality study, funded by the National Institutes of Health and conducted by the American Journal of Epidemiology, shows that workplace homicide rates for women working in prostitution are 51 times that of the next most dangerous occupation for women (which is working in a liquor store). The average age of death of the women studied was 34.

Some have argued that those working for "high end" escort services, as Dupre was, cannot be compared to the "average" woman working in prostitution. But the $1,000-an-hour escort of today will often become the woman on the street of tomorrow, as age, alcohol and sexually transmitted diseases take their toll.

Much has been made about the "benefits" Dupre may enjoy as a result of her newfound celebrity. But her short-term economic gains merely distract us from the reality of the institution of prostitution, making us less critical of the grave damage it does to millions of women and girls.

Yet the glamorization of prostitution continues, unabated by the facts. Nowhere was this more clear than on a recent edition of "Larry King Live." During an interview with Natalie McLennan, the woman who allegedly trained Dupre at the escort agency New York Confidential, King asked, "Do any hookers ever marry their johns?"

"They do!" she exclaimed, telling King the tale of a fellow "girl" who "went on a date with a client and then we never saw her again. It turns out that they met and they fell in love and she never returned. It's a real sort of Cinderella, 'Pretty Woman' story, you know. Which is I think . . . just a fantastic story—every girl's dream."

For the vast majority of women working in prostitution, however, the reality is less fairy tale, more grim fable. But who wants to let that get in the way of a good story?

There may be a book of the adventures of Ashley Dupre and Eliot Spitzer

Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer who left office over a sex scandal may strike a book deal after an initial offer sold for $350,000 on the auction block.

The book was proposed by Peter Elkind, a writer for Fortune and co-author of a book about Enron. Spitzer's agent, Liz Darhansoff declined to confirm the bid price.

According to Sara Nelson, editor of Publishers Weekly which ran a story on the book, quoted by the Daily News, "It seems a lot of money to me, but the book will get a lot of ink, if not sales."

But she added, "The question is that, by the time it comes out, will people have read everything they need to know in the tabloids and other papers?"

Meanwhile, a second call girl was the one who provided federal investigators with more details about Spitzer's sexual adventures with Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the New York Post reported.

One thing for sure, if Eliot doesn't jump on it, Ashley will... hold on, can Ashley spell?

Joel Francis of Girls Gone Wild toying with the public over Ashley's Nude pictures

Girls Gone Wild smutmeister Joe Francis continues his game of tease with a shelved GGW video of Ashley Alexandra Dupre. The vid became a hot commodity after Gov. Eliot Spitzer was nailed for cavorting with the $1,000-an-hour prostitute.

Thirty-two screen caps from the tape have now turned up on the internet. They show Dupre, clearly nude, although her private parts are covered. She's frolicking in a shower and dancing at one of Francis's staged parties. Meanwhile, Dupre still remains underground, and no word about the photos has come from her purported lawyer, who issued a threatening statement a few weeks ago about unauthorized use of Dupre's MySpace photos. Which raises a question: Are Ashley and Joe in cahoots?

Francis is reporting giving away a DVD called Hookers Gone Wild that will feature Ashley Dupre. Francis apparently intends to give it away free with the premiere issue of his new mag. "We could release it on the internet. The problem with the internet, the minute we put it up there, even if we're charging, it's out," Francis told "E!" Entertainment television. If he doesn't want the tape out, then photos seem to be the next best thing to hype his mag.

Francis claims the video in question was shot in 2003 when Dupre spent her 18th birthday partying with the GGW bus crew. But according to other reports, Dupre may only have been 17, and thus underage when she was filmed. Even so, Francis claims, there is no law against a 17-year-old appearing nude as long as she is not being touched in an overtly sexual manner. And he's vowed to release the tape. Dupre's private parts, however, are covered in the photos, which prominently display the GGW logo.

Given the way events have unfolded and Francis's sudden boldness, it raises a question whether Dupre may be secretly collaborating with the porn peddler, who did a short stint in jail for releasing a tape of a minor. Since her escapades with Spitzer became public, Dupre has reportedly received dozens of offers worth millions of dollars to pose nude, or make public appearances. Donald Trump has even suggested a "My Fair Lady" makeover reality show in which Dupre would be the first guest.

For her part, Dupre has remained out of the spotlight. Some believe she may have been ordered to lay low while she provides testimony to federal authorities about the call-girl ring and Spitzer's involvement. Either way, the appearance of the photos keeps her in the spotlight for at least another week.

Results of Ashey's Whoring around with Eliot Spitzer apparent to Spitzer's wife

Silda Spitzer, the wife of former New York State Governor Elliot Spitzer, is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered marriage and coping privately with two other family tragedies.

Her sister's husband is on his deathbed, according to Trilby Wall, Silda's mom. Ray Grayson - the adored 64-year-old husband of Silda's younger sister, Susan - is under hospice care at their Richmond, Virginia, home.

The second tragedy confronting the family is Eliot Spitzer's 83-year-old father, Bernard, who has also been hospitalised. He suffers from Parkinson's disease and has been admitted to NYU Medical Centre's cardiac floor.

The former governor and his wife have been visiting the elder Spitzer at his bedside in the Tisch pavilion, reports the New York Times.

The grim-looking couple were photographed coming out of the First Ave. hospital last week, one of just a few times they have been seen together in public since an ashen-faced Silda stood beside her husband when he resigned in disgrace on March 17.

It's been just one month since the feds outed the former governor as sleazy "Client 9" - a regular john of a high-class call girl ring.

Feds said he paid 4,300 dollars for a romp with call girl Ashley (Kristen) Dupre at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington.

His tawdry professional and personal betrayals ended his 14-month governorship within a week, inflicting unimaginable anguish on a loving wife of 20 years and their three teenage daughters.

Relatives and friends say Silda, 50, is tough - and the one-time hard-charging corporate lawyer who gave up her career for her husband's political ambitions will do what she thinks is best for her children.

They say she has made no concrete decision on whether the marriage can be saved, but wants to keep her family together as she begins to regain her emotional footing and find what is the "new normal" for her and her daughters.

On the other hand, for the cheating Spitzer, these last few weeks have been an exercise in extreme contrition - a trait not usually associated with the former Sheriff of Wall Street.

He's in therapy, and Silda's mom said the ex-governor and attorney general has tried to make things right with his in-laws.

Besides leaving their Fifth Ave. apartment to take walks in Central Park and overseeing the active lives of three teens, Silda Spitzer has been able to distract herself with her charity, Children for Children.

Ashley Dupre ordered to testify in Spitzer trial

Ashley Alexandra Dupré has been ordered to testify about her tryst with the disgraced former New York Governor as prosecutors examine whether he used any campaign funds for his meetings with prostitutes.

Ms Dupré, also known as Ashley Youmans, has received a subpoena to appear behind closed doors before an investigating grand jury hearing the case against the Emperors Club VIP prostitution ring, her lawyer said in court this week.

The struggling singer was caught by an FBI phone-tap talking to an accused madam about her $4,300 (£2,150) encounter with a man refered to as Client 9, now identified as Eliot Spitzer.

Ms Dupré reportedly had several dates with the man she knew as “George Fox” but realised only during their last meeting that he was the New York Governor. The New York Post said that the shocked prostitute told her bosses: “Oh, my God! Do you know who this guy is?” Mr Spitzer resigned on Wednesday without striking a deal with prosecutors on his legal fate.

Negotiations between prosecutors and Mr Spitzer’s legal team appear to be on hold for authorities to determine whether any taxpayer money or campaign funds was misused — which Mr Spitzer denies. The New York Times reported yesterday that prosecutors were focusing on whether campaign funds were used in Mr Spitzer’s dealings with the high-priced call-girl ring.

Prosecutors have asked Mr Spitzer’s lawyers about the travel arrangements for three trips, including his tryst with Ms Dupré at the Mayflower Hotel, Washington, on the eve of Valentine’s Day, the newspaper said. Mr Spitzer reportedly used the escort service on trips to Dallas and Florida. He attended a fundraising event in Dallas in October and held another fundraiser to West Palm Beach last month. He is more likely to face charges stemming from his payments to the prostitution ring than from the sex itself.

Because Ms Dupre travelled by train from New York to Washington to meet him, he could also be charged under a 1910 law called the Mann Act that makes it illegal to induce prostitutes to cross state lines.

The scandal threatens to richochet into the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, who was endorsed by Mr Spitzer. Now Mr Spitzer’s infidelity has reminded voters of Bill Clinton’s own sexual meanderings. The comedian David Letterman got an easy laugh with his top ten list of excuses for Mr Spitzer’s conduct. The No 1 excuse: “I thought Bill Clinton legalised this years ago.”

Ashley was kicked off Girls Gone Wild bus for drinking

Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis said a video has surfaced from 2003 which features Kristin, also known as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, in a lesbian act at age 18.

Girls Gone Wild filmmaker Joe Francis says that Eilot Spitzer's infamous call girl, Kristin or known as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, got her early start in a barely legal video.

When Ashley Alexandra Dupre celebrated her 18th birthday, she starred in a racy lesbian spring break video of Girls Gone Wild. Dupre is featured on seven reels of film called "Spring Break 2003."

"We have some really great footage of Ashley," Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis said. "There's a very good shower scene that alone is worth the money." Francis also said that Ashley was "a total Girls Gone Wild groupie."

Francis has offered Dupre $1 million for a new video and promotional tour.

The video was discovered after Francis was asked about it by a reporter. Francies searched the archives and found Dupre, then offered her the lucrative offer.

Dupre, now 22, was vacationing in Miami in 2003 when she had a fight with a friend and walked to a local bar where the "Girls Gone Wild" production was recruiting young women to star in its videos.

"She hopped on the bus and rolled with us for a week," Francis said.

Francis claimed the "Girls Gone Wild" staff kicked Dupre out of the video shoot and bought her a bus ticket home after catching her drinking, which he said violated the group's rules.

Ashley Alexandra Dupre was working for the high-priced prostitution ring when she had sex with former New York Governor, Eilot Spitzer, on February 13 in a Washington hotel room. Spitzer resigned last week after he was unmasked as "Client 9" in a criminal indictment.

Ex Fiance of Ashley Dupre tries to cash in on her fame

Once a fiancé of "Client 9's" favorite hooker, Jason Jarocki is kissing and telling.

The man once engaged to prostitute Ashley Dupre talked about his infamous gal. Jarocki reveals what life was like with the woman who brought down New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, how their love affair ended and whether Dupre kept the engagement ring he gave her.

Jarocki and Dupre met in 2006 at a nightclub. Jason now intends to milk his 15 minutes of fame as he talks about their past and how they got engaged a few months later. Jarocki believes that Dupree was “… a real girl. Good girl. Good Catholic girl…A girl every guy would want to meet.”

As for how things ended, Jarocki says, “To sum it up. She broke my heart.” He explains, “Towards the end, she was disappearing…I had no idea where she was or what she was doing or anything at all. Then, all of a sudden, she popped up and said, ‘Hey, here I am.’”

When asked what he would ask Dupre if the two talked again, Jarocki exclaims, “I’d love to know if she still has the ring!”

Ashley Dupre's Dad worries about his daughter

The day after federal authorities busted the high-end hooker ring that ended disgraced former New York governor Eliot Spitzer's political career, the brunette callgirl telephoned her dad in tears to say she was in trouble.

"I was worried for her," William Youmans, father of Ashley Dupre, told the New York Post. But during the call Dupre still remained silent about her other life as $4300-an-hour callgirl "Kristen".

"Everyone makes mistakes, and this was a very large mistake," Mr Youmans, a stonemason, said. "I love her tremendously and support her, but I am just in so much shock right now."

Mr Youmans said Dupre lived with him down on the Outer Banks of North Carolina from the age of 17, after she left her mother and stepfather's home in New Jersey, in 2002. But she never adjusted to life in the south.

So after a little less than a year, she moved up to the Big Apple to pursue her dream of becoming a singing star - changing her name from Ashley Youmans to Ashley Alexandra Dupre.

She quickly fell into a fast-paced life of hard partying, expensive tastes and rich men and worked as a cocktail waitress, earning $600-800 a night.

Few who knew her realised she was living a double life until her encounter with Eliot Spitzer came to light.

Dupre is not the only one in her family getting some unwanted publicity. Her brother Kyle Youmans pleaded guilty last week to possession of heroin with intent to distribute and will be sentenced next month.

Sloppy Seconds... It seems Charlie Sheen has been in Ashley as well

Looks like this whole Ashley Dupre scandal is far from over. New details of the call girls past have leaked to the press and it involves some high profile names.

Dupre's pimp Jason Itzler claims that Charlie Sheen was one of Dupre's clients a few years back. He claims Sheen paid $20,000 for a threesome with the girls dressed up as cheerleaders.

"They loved Charlie. They said he was a great guy. A great lover. One time he had them dressed up like cheerleaders, chanting 'Charlie! Charlie! He's our man. If he can't do it, nobody can"

Itzler also claims Sheen pretended he was a porn film director and asked the women to act out lesbian scenes for him. Denise is going to have a field day with this one! Emergency court hearing anyone?

Donald Trump Wants Ashley Dupre

Donald Trump would love to feature Eliot Spitzer scandal gal Ashley Alexandra Dupré in his latest reality show, the New York Daily News reports. In Mr. Trump's modern version of My Fair Lady , notorious young women are sent to a charm school, where they undergo a strict course on debutante manners.

Mr. Trump told the News that he would love to get the chance to class up Ms. Dupré in front of a national audience. "She is an interesting candidate, very interesting," he said.

He seems to have a special place in his heart for struggling girls. If you remember, he gave Miss USA Tara Conner a second chance to keep her crown back in December 2006 by giving her a pass to rehab. Particulary if they have noce knockers.
